Heritage International School Hosts “Best from Waste” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach Program

Heritage International School successfully organized an inspiring and educational seminar titled “Best from Waste” on August 27, 2024. The event aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and sustainable entrepreneurship among students.
This impactful seminar was conducted by a dynamic team of engineering students from Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Lavale Pune (BVCOEL), under the Waste Management Club and the Earn and Learn Scheme of the Students Development Cell, in collaboration with the Department of Engineering Sciences. The initiative was led by Dr. Jyoti Dhanke, Associate Professor at BVCOEL, with the invaluable support of BVCOEL’s respected Principal, Prof. Dr. R.N. Patil.
During the seminar, high school students were captivated by the innovative mechanisms and processes demonstrated by the engineering students. These projects not only piqued their interest but also encouraged them to think creatively about problem-solving and entrepreneurship, particularly in the context of sustainable waste management.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion on innovative waste management solutions, further emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in everyday life.
The seminar was a resounding success, with students expressing their gratitude to the school’s management committee members, including Founder Mr Krishna Bhilare, Mrs Sangeeta Bhilare, Mr Kunal Bhilare, and Principal Dr Renu Patil, for organizing such an informative and enriching event. Mrs. Nutan Bhutkar, Head of the Eco Club, skillfully anchored the program.
This event marks a significant step in Heritage International School’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young minds and empowering them to become future innovators and entrepreneurs.
