Heritage International School Celebrates National Youth Day

Heritage International School commemorated National Youth Day on January 12, 2025, with significant enthusiasm and respect to honor Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. The event paid homage to the spiritual leader's teachings and principles, embodying the essence of his renowned exhortation: “Arise! Awake! And stop not until the goal is reached.”



The event was designed to educate students on the philosophies, principles, and contributions of Swami Vivekananda, encouraging them to adopt spirituality, self-reliance, and responsible citizenship. According to the government's declaration of Swamiji's birthday as National Youth Day, his philosophy and ideals serve as a significant source of inspiration for the youth of India.




Highlights of the Celebration:

Students from the High School section presented PowerPoint presentations, shedding light on the significance of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda's contributions to Indian society. These presentations provided an excellent opportunity to foster awareness and understanding of citizens' rights and responsibilities in India.



In her address, Dr Renu Patil, Principal of Heritage International School, highlighted the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in modern times. She emphasized the importance of blending Western advancements with India's rich cultural heritage. Dr. Patil encouraged students to read Swamiji’s works, underscoring how his books serve as valuable resources for knowledge, motivation, and guidance in achieving life goals.



The school administration and principal motivated the students by emphasizing Swami Vivekananda's steadfast belief in the capabilities of youth. They encouraged the students to utilize their potential to effect enduring positive change. The event concluded with sincere wishes for the students to aim high, work hard, and achieve significant accomplishments that contribute to societal progress and development.
