Heritage International School Celebrates Children's Day 2024: A Joyful Tribute to Creativity and Camaraderie

Heritage International School, Kasar Amboli, celebrated Children's Day on 14th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was designed to honour and inspire children, emphasizing courage, kindness, and creativity.

The celebration commenced with a tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children's Day in India. In the beginning, Saraswati puja was performed by school management members Mr Krishna Bhilare (Founder, President), Mrs Sangeeta Bhilare(Secretary), Mr Kunal Bhilare sir ( Director), Mrs Yashaswini Bhilare(Admin Manager), Principal Dr Renu Patil and staff.

Following this, Rajan Kumbhar from Std 10 gave a speech that set the tone for the event, speaking about the importance of children's role in society and encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness.

The program included a variety of performances, showcasing the talents of students across different grades. The highlights were as follows:

1. Welcome Dance - Vidhi Mhatre from Std 9 gracefully performed a welcome dance that energized the audience.

2. Instrumental Performance - Avanti Baddole from Std 4B played an instrumental piece, enchanting everyone with her musical skills.

3. Dance Performances - Students from different grades, including Std 1st A & B, Std 2nd A & B, and combined performances by students of Std 3rd, 4th, and 5th, displayed vibrant dance acts that were met with applause.

4. Group Song - Students from Std 10 sang a group song, filling the hall with melody and harmony

5. Group Dances - Multiple group dance performances by students of Stds 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th kept the energy high and showcased their teamwork and coordination.

The event was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks & appreciation to the students, teachers, and staff for their efforts in making the celebration a success. The students of Std 9th and 10th were then treated to a session of fun games, adding a joyful and playful end to the day's festivities.
